In line with current Dog Fouling Legislations, Professional Dog
Walkers agree to clean up after dogs in their care.

All dogs should be kept under control, in line with the Dangerous
Dogs Act 1991 and The Dogs Act 1871.

Professional Dog Walkers should be aware of the laws and bylaws
relating to dogs.
Other dog walkers, and members of the public, should be taken into
consideration, when dogs are being exercised

Contact details and company information should be attached to all
dogs that are being cared for.

Professional Dog Walkers agree to provide appropriate insurance
cover for their service.

Professional Dog Walkers agree to only exercise the number of dogs
which are covered by their insurance policy, and to use adequate
control in line with canine legislation.

Dogs should be transported in vehicles with adequate
ventilation.

Vehicles should be fitted with adequate caging or containment, to
ensure dogs are transported safely.

Dogs should not be restrained by leashes or chains within vehicles,
cage doors should be fitted if necessary.

Professional Dog Walkers should have a good knowledge of dog
training, behaviour, and handling skills.
